WD4000 series energy meter is a DIN based energy monitoring device that helps in monitoring energy consumption at the point of installation. It helps to keep a tab on the consumption of energy guzzling devices for the user to take corrective actions.

The whole current 1 Phase energy meter (5-40 A) in 2 module or 3 Phase (10-60 A) in 7 module size has a powerful comparative insight that shows today’s consumption compared to yesterday and this month consumption compared to previous month.

Quick monitoring of daily, weekly & monthly consumption compared to previous period

This means that for monitoring previous month data, we have the convenience to see the data anytime during the current month. This is an inbuilt feature without the use of any software. This comparative insight aspect at an extremely competitive price in this multifunction meter is a mighty combination that customers can experience.

Quick monitoring of daily

Moreover, there is also a variable period i.e ‘push to push’ for the user’s convenience. The push button is used for measuring kWh consumption from one push of the button to next time push i.e from one period to another period. The energy meter also has a non-resettable energy register for all audit purposes.

Typical usages are energy guzzlers like AC’s at home or office, standalone machines in plants, etc. It can also be used for check monitoring of room-based energy consumption in hostels or organisation’s residential quarters for currents as low as 0.02A (1Ph) / 0.04A (3Ph).

For a comprehensive energy management system, it is recommended to connect these meters with a communication RS485 module to L&T E&A SmartComm EMS for ready to use reports, trend analysis, reports by email and analytics using SmartComm EMS.

Energy consumed by a particular load or set of loads for a specific application can be monitored using L&T’s DIN Energy meters.

  • Push to push consumption helps to monitor energy for flexible time period in hours or days or months.
  • Non resettable cumulative energy registers and another register for push to push consumption.
